Pharmacology :
Although its mechanism has not been established, there is evidence that topical tretinoin lower the tendency of folicle epithelial cells to stick together accomparied by reduced formation of microcomedos.
The drug enhances mitotic activity, renewing epithelial cells of the follicle.
Indications :
Trentin is indicated for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris, reducing comedos, papules and pustules
Posology :
Trentin cream should be applied to acne lesions once a day before retiring using only enough to cover the entire affected area lightly.
